Flowers, Doves from Heaven, on Earth

Genesis 8:11

And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth.

Dove Orchid

Peristeria  commonly called Dove Orchid or Holy Ghost Orchid. In line with the common name, the genus' name is from the Greek word peristerion meaning "from dove".  In nature, it's found in South America as well as in Panama, Costa Rica and... en.wikipedia.org

Angel Orchid

 

This orchid (Habenaria Grandifloriformis) named Angel Orchid is a rare flower found in India. It no doubt got it's name because of the shape it has, which resembles an angel. I have searched for information to share with you and have not found what I was looking for... Kinda like the angels.      and the dove is from Heaven

Isaiah 40:6

In Scripture we have been given familiar names of animals or things to help us to relate to the meaning.  Let us focus on the Dove Orchid and the Angel Orchid. Both, of which were named such because of their Heavenly beauty...

Angels all around you!

 Contemplating about my fate... 

As I prayed, I looked up and there were angle formations in the clouds. I quickly reached for my camera and hoped that I hadn't missed my opportunity for a perfect picture. I am so thankful, I saw more Angels in the final shot. 

YES, It was all about the timing and where my heart was when I saw them.  This is how the Holy Spirit works with me... and others.

While in prayer... I was pondering over how to react to something that had upset me... My thoughts were struggling that this might not be of God.  Should I turn my head and not look back, or should I meet it face to face, head on? 

I have chosen not to be complacent, but to meet it face to face, head on. Yes, by sharing this story I will help others and how the Holy Angles came before me. 

For, if I do not share what I was struggling with, then how will others learn from my experience?

For the Bible tells us that we will be tried, tested and persecuted and that God's love is always there for us.

Exodus 23:20

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

 

And then they were gone... hiding behind the pillar of clouds...

 

Exodus 14:19

Then the angel of God who was going before the host of Israel moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them...

As The Wind Blows

Today as I walked the wind blew gently a cool breeze across my face.   

  

A Path I have Chosen to Take

These Scriptures from today's readings struck me...

John 3:8 "The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." 

 

John 3:12 "If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?"

The wind blows... we really have no idea where the wind has come from, but we definitely can guess with today's technology. 

Ask yourself the next time you feel the breeze or a wind... Do I know where you've come from? 

And, how true it is that if we can't imagine where this wind might come from, how can we even begin to imagine what Heaven holds for us.  

Jesus was so awesome to explain this to Nicodemus this way... 

John 3:7-8..."You must be born from above." (You must be born again!)  Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’  The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.”

How awesome is this statement from Jesus... We must be born from above. Lift your hearts and know that you are truly blessed.  For you are a PRECIOUS CHILD OF GOD... And I believe that there is no sin that He can't forgive.  

As I pray today I ask my Guardian Angel to walk with me...  And now all I can think of is this old song... Blowing In The Wind...
