Pope Benedict XVI dies at 95

On Saturday December 31st at 9:34am in his residence at the Vatican.

The late Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, 

was born in Marktl, Germany, on 16 April 1927.

Eternal rest grant unto Pope Benedict XVI - O Lord. 

And let Your perpetual light shine upon him.

May the soul of Pope Benedict XVI, your faithful son departed through the mercy of God, 

 may he rest in eternal peace.

Pope Benedict died Dec. 31, 2022, 

at the age of 95 in his residence at the Vatican.
